Análise de NO2, NH3 e PTS na Atmosfera de Paranaguá - PR

As áreas portuárias são centros de atividades econômicas e também grandes geradoras de impactos ao meio ambiente. Nestas, ocorrem várias fontes de emissão de poluentes para a atmosfera. As consequências na saúde da população local, devido à grande emissão de poluentes no ar são diversas, e consistem no maior risco ambiental a saúde humana atualmente. Paranaguá tem sua economia baseada na atividade portuária, sendo o porto de Paranaguá um dos mais importantes do Brasil e o maior exportador de grãos da América Latina. Neste estudo, foi utilizado um equipamento chamado de APV (Amostrador de Pequeno Volume) para avaliação das concentrações de amônia (NH3) e dióxido de nitrogênio (NO2) e um AGV (Amostrador de Grande volume) para a avaliação de material particulado em suspensão (PTS). O monitoramento da qualidade do ar foi realizado ao longo de 12 meses. A média anual para dióxido de nitrogênio, amônia e Partículas totais em suspensão ficou no entorno de 12,9 ± 7,41 µg/m3, 3,61 ± 3,82 µg/m3 e 73,91 μg/m³ ± 36,71 μg/m³ respectivamente. Os dados foram relacionados com variáveis climática e de tráfego rodoviário, utilizando-se para isto o software estatístico R. As médias anuais dos poluentes amostrados foram comparadas aos resultados obtidos em pesquisas ao redor do mundo, identificando valores similares ou superiores aos de localidades mais populosas ou com intensas atividades antrópicas.
