Ensinamentos do Esporte para os Africanos: Uma Revisão Narrativa

In this study we seek to understand the nuances of sport in Africa and its role in the lives of these people. The objective of this review was to gather information capable of identifying what lessons sport brought to the lives of Africans. For its development, we subdivided the text into three distinct parts (Sport learning; Sport, socialization & culture; Evidence of sport teachings in Africa). We conclude that, when gathering information about sport, in the lives of Africans, the cultural issues of the nation and/or its colonizer stand out. In relation to socialization, although not measurable, human relationships are improved and consolidated towards a common objective in the sports field. At the end of this study, we understand that much still needs to be done to accurately measure the impact of sporting practices on the lives of Africans, therefore, we suggest studies involving this topic across the entire African continent.
