Abstract

The leadership style that predominates in companies can substantially impact the quality of work, as well as the satisfaction, motivation and well-being of employees, contributing to organizational performance. In this sense, the study aims to analyze the relationship between leadership styles and the well-being of employees in the workplace. The analysis was carried out through quantitative research with data collection using an electronic questionnaire. The sample comprised 145 respondents, 85 of whom were women and 60 were men. It was possible to identify that employee performance is directly related to their level of well-being at work, just as well-being is related to the type of leadership that the environment has. Thus, the study contributes to management literature, providing a reflection on the relationship between leadership styles and well-being, an important factor for organizations, as it is possible to identify the correlations between the two themes and which aspects the leader can follow to improve your relationship with the work team and increase people's level of well-being. In the social sphere, the insights identified in the study allow companies to better manage their teams, providing more humanized and welcoming environments to coexist.
