Justiça Ambiental e Ecologia Política: Entre sinergias e Benefícios Mútuos na Direção de Futuros Sociais Desejáveis

Resumo

Este artigo reúne os principais debates promovidos pela Justiça Ambiental (JA) e sua aproximação à Ecologia Política (EP). Para tal, observaram-se as perspectivas teóricas que contribuíram para a evolução do conceito de JA, a forma como tem sido definido seu campo de investigação empírico, com destaque para os principais métodos e técnicas utilizados, assim como as sinergias resultantes do seu entrelaçamento com o campo da EP. Busca-se, com isso, entender a complexidade das atuais questões socioambientais e, ao final, identificar futuros caminhos de investigação de realidades assentes na justiça social e ecológica. Neste sentido, optou-se pela revisão sistemática de literatura somada à revisão bola-de-neve. O tratamento bibliométrico permitiu agrupar os artigos pesquisados em quatro principais eixos de investigação, assim segmentados: 1. condições materiais com perspectivas à mudança; 2. relações de poder e resistências ao racional econômico; 3. politização das narrativas da sustentabilidade; 4. ativismo intercultural e emancipação dos atores. Mesmo diante da amplitude e diversificação das frentes teórico-empíricas utilizadas pelos autores dos artigos consultados, a ideia normativa de justiça unida à PE mostrou-se central nos múltiplos caminhos propostos na direção de futuros sociais desejáveis.
