República Democrática do Timor Leste: Fusão de Horizontes ou Choque de Paradigmas?

O presente artigo pretende analisar as crises democráticas vivenciadas na transição democrática no Timor Leste sob a perspectiva teórica da fusão de horizontes, desenvolvida por Gadamer. Nesse contexto, o estudo volta-se para uma revisão teórica dos principais conceitos desenvolvidos por Gadamer, em especial os conceitos de tradição, preconceito e fusão de horizonte. Posteriormente, a anáise das principais dificuldades observadas na implementação de uma democracia no Timor Leste será devidamente contrastada com as ideias de Gadamer com o intuito de analisar se realmente houve uma fusão de horizontes, ou se o choque de paradigmas ali ocorrido seria a razão primordial para a eclosão da crise democrática de 2006.Referências
